Bio

Sheana Firth grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, a once-tiny beach town on the east coast where she learned to swim before she learned to walk. As a child, she excelled in art related studies and quickly developed an interest in photography. By the time she reached high school, she had mastered her mother?s old Minolta® manual camera and enjoyed spending hours in the darkroom perfecting the art of developing Black and White prints. While attending Florida Sate University, she focused on her studies, earning a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology. She also dedicated herself to athletics as a Cheerleader for football and basketball games as well as being a principal member of the FSU Competitive Cheerleading Squad.

Soon after graduating, she took a job as a Social Worker and quickly realized that particular vocation wasn?t for her. Luckily, her mother owned a magazine called The InsideTrack Almanac and asked Sheana to join her staff as a photographer. It wasn?t long before Sheana started using her spare time at the magazine to learn her way around Photoshop® and Quark Xpress®. Within one year, Sheana had taken over all advertising and layout design as well as typeset and production. But a quarterly publication proved to be too little for the wildly ambitious Sheana. Breakaway Graphics was established and she promptly had freelance work to supplement the down time between issues of the InsideTrack Almanac. During this time, she mastered Adobe InDesign® and Illustrator®, adding to the list of services she could offer her clients. She now resides in Tennessee where Breakaway Graphics continues to grow and flourish. But fear not, Floridians, Sheana still services Florida clientele via phone, email and Skype and can be available for personal meetings when she comes home to visit friends and family.
