As an art director and senior graphic designer for education books, culture and finance magazines, with management experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, I am confident that I make an ideal candidate for your next design project. My responsibilities at America?s Choice Inc., Source Media Inc. and Art & Ink Publications have been conceptual product development, finding and researching artists, illustration concept and assignment, magazine and book layout and design, typography, template development, design and implementation, and production.

At Source Media Inc., as an Art Director I conceptualize, select and commission original art from illustrators and arrange photo shoots for four national Human Resources magazines. I am also responsible for managing the art budget and composing the layout and design of all the publications.

At America?s Choice Inc., I was Senior Graphic Designer for all publishing and marketing. I led graphic design teams, developed new art concepts, guided art selection, designed logos, and created layout designs for instructional and educational books. I managed and trained associate designers and production assistants and streamlined the workflow to enhance production efficiency. During my time at America?s Choice Inc. I designed products for students, teachers and school administrators in all disciplines and topics throughout the United States.

In my role as Art Director at Art & Ink Publications, I oversaw the redesign of eight culture and music magazines including typography, layout and creating new logos for titles. I managed and trained associate designers in design programs, magazine layout and production.

As Artist Assistant and Studio Manager for Matt Mullican, who is represented by galleries and museums around the world, I digitized drawings and prepared digital files for fabrication into artwork in varied media. In addition to other administrative duties I also scheduled meetings with clients and arranged Mr. Mullican?s production and traveling schedule.
