Bio

Heather had an affinity to art from an early age. At the age of twenty-two she began her career in graphic art. Beginning as an entry level graphic designer at a vinyl sign and graphic shop she quickly moved on to print at a local newspaper. After seven years with the paper she moved on to in-house marketing and learned web design, product photography, multi-page layout among many others. In late 2007 Heather relocated to Spartanburg, South Carolina with her husband and son and was brought on board at a small marketing and public relations agency. After eight months designing many creative pieces including brochure, newsletter, direct mail, invitation and package design she felt the need to broaden her horizons once more. Entering the realm of contract and freelance graphic design had always been her dream.

Having visited virtually every aspect of the design industry Heather brings with her nine years of graphic design background blended with several years of illustration experience. An accomplished artist and amateur photographer and writer, Schiefer has a wide breadth of knowledge and a passion for the art of graphic design. Her unique view and design style coupled with the pride she takes in her work brings a new prospective to professional design and sets this artist apart from today's business-as-usual marketing agencies.
