Bio

Mark Stone is a professional photographer with expertise and experience in architectural and commercial photography. Serving numerous business developers in the Western NC region, Mark produces stunning portfolios of residential and commercial interiors and exteriors, plus commercial product photography, for publication in respected professional journals and websites and other published media.

Mark works closely with each client to recognize and develop the inherent personality of each photographic project. Mark artistically blends conventional photographic techniques with the latest technological tools to produce unique portfolios for each project.

Mark?s work has been widely published, utilized by commercial and residential developers for advertising, and displayed prominently via billboards, business banners, and commercial displays. Versatile photographic and design experience are utilized to artfully unite each project with its chosen medium.

Partnering with a commercial client in 2008, Mark?s photographic and design work won the ?Best Multi-family Design? award by the Manufactured Housing Institute. This two-year project in Asheville, NC, highlighted the entire building lifecycle of the Lexington Station development.

Mark has traveled extensively across the United States and has been contracted by several Fortune 500 companies, providing business development publications for marketing, research, product development, and advertising. His travels have led him back to his North Carolina home, where he and his wife, Joni, continue to produce photographic multimedia solutions for the Greater Western NC Region.

Mark and Joni are members and regular contributors with the National Press Photographers Association (www.NPPA.org), and the International Association of Architectural Photographers (www.iaap.co.uk). In addition to commercial and event photography, Mark and Joni?s photographic interests include landscape, nature, and macro photography. Frequent early-morning and late evening excursions to the scenic mountain locations have produced spectacular landscape and natural photographs, forthcoming in commercially available cards, prints and books.
