Bio

I've lived in Indianapolis for many years, earned a B.S. degree in exercise science from Ball State University in 1991, with homors in writing, where I'm also a Chi Omega Alum. Eventually, I went back to school in Florida to study a more creative field, graduating from The Int'l Academy of Merchandising & Design in Tampa in 1997, with an A.S. degree in interior design, summa cum laude. Somewhere in between there, I was an Indianapolis Colts Cheerleader - 1990, '91 & '92 (co-captain in 1992).

Am I writing too much?

Unfortunately, I was paralyzed from the chest down in a car accident just before finishing interior design school, so I had to find a different creative trade to take its place. (I miss it so much.) To shorten a long story, I taught myself how to use my computer to design websites & create graphic art, & I'm always learning, improving & having fun with it, while earning a little money, too.

The first website I designed was for my own non-profit organization, called "Cynthia's Hope Fund," back in 2002. It's purpose is to raise money to help me pay for physical therapy & promising experimental procedures that could help me live a better quality of life.
