Bio

The Designer
Before studying Fashion Design at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, Francisco Quadros studied at Candido Portinari Art Institute in Sao Paulo by 1984. Followed by Portinari?s influence, who was a Brazilian painter which his paintings reflected scenes of the Brazilian life and European style, Francisco started his journey by absorbing Portinari?s artistic passion.

In 1993 Francisco traveled to America establishing his life and career in Miami, Florida. He went on to work at several companies including Design & Textile showroom at DCOTA. His personality and somewhat sense of style revealed an interest at Kiko Comfortable Clothing; a well established apparel company specialized in garment dye; and among others Danny Santiago ? Sex in the City stylist and World to Us - QVC Germany. Francisco is the winner of many events as Feature Designer in Denver, CO and as Emerging Designer finalist in the Miami Fashion Week 2009.

Francisco participated in many benefit events including the Miami Beach Community Health Center ? ?Through the Eyes of Love? an Exhibition in honor of world Aids day & Palm Beach Fashion Connection in association with Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Breast Cancer in South Florida.

FRANCISCO QUADROS has broadened the scope of his designs from casual resort wear to a lifestyle collection of year-round evening wear. Inspired by his experience with colors and textures, he developed his unique style for textiles & design.
