Bio

Julie graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a BFA in Graphic Design. As a student there, she received formal training in many design concepts and industry standard applications, such as Adobe Photoshop. Julie also received fine art training in figure drawing, illustration, painting, and calligraphy. After graduation, she immediately found employment with an Atlanta, GA based design studio. Through that position, Julie had the opportunity to design for high profile national clients such as Popeyes Chicken and Dunkin' Donuts. Julie also donated her time to the Friend's Junior Committee as Publicity Chair, where she did pro bono design work to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. After several years in the design field, Julie next spent time employed at a marketing firm in the Atlanta area. At this company, Julie had the chance to explore behind-the-scenes elements of the marketing industry, and gained valuable experience as a temporary Traffic Manager. During this time, Julie also completed college courses to enhance her understanding of web design and programming. Today, Julie is recently relocated to Meridian, MS and performing freelance duties. Never one to settle, Julie is continually striving to learn new trends in the design community.
