Bio

I have a music business degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. I was an editor/web author/arranger at Mel Bay Publications for 4 years. They publish educational and nostalgic music books and other publications. I now work with United American. Most of my current writing experience is in 3 books I've written and trying to get published. Software: Finale (sheet music), Word, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), and Adobe Indesign. Outside publishing software I can run Soundforge, Wavelab, Nuendo, Vegas, and DVD Architect for your audio/video needs. Can also do stereo music recording as well. I also teach music lessons for guitar and piano with heavy emphasis on music theory, compositional and ear training skills. Also am currently working with musicians on new approach to music industry using a blanketed marketing approach for non-exclusive contracts strictly for syncronization purposes. Mechanicals are responsibility of the musician. This new strategy cuts out unions, agents and the need for an exclusive record company. The Holy Grail of the music industry is not an exclusive contract anymore, it's about being a sucessful musician.
