I am a freelance producer that creates short and long form commercial and educational programs. I work with a team of independent contractors to take a program from concept through completion. Medical programming is my specialty.

Bio

Matt Dragovits is an extremely organized, high-energy writer/director/editor that prides himself on his ability to exceed the demands of any given project. His technical experience in multiple aspects of video production for the technology, medical, and military sectors has allowed him to produce compelling programs that have received Telly, Aurora, and Communicator Awards for production excellence. During his ten years as a video producer Matt has interviewed hundreds of nationally recognized physicians, military leaders, and captains of corporate industry. He has directed crews across the country at locations ranging from studio settings, to aircraft carriers, to the NY Mercantile Exchange, to operating rooms where open-heart surgery was being performed. His experience as a non-linear editor also ensures that he understands the full scope and needs of a project from scripting and development through the shoot and into the edit. Matt excels when working within the team dynamic and thrives off of the energy exchange between creative professionals. He is constantly staying abreast of the latest computer applications and production hardware to ensure that the programs he works on stay on the cutting edge of the field.
