Bio

Baxter Imaging was officially started in August 2003, by Michael and Heather Baxter. After graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from University of Arizona, Michael worked for Exponent Failure Analysis Associates from 1999 to 2003. As one of three members
of VCOM (Visual Communication) his primary focus involved high-speed photography, videography, and digital imaging of vehicle testing.

In 2004 Michael shifted his focus :) and became the luxury home photographer of choice for Swallows And Associates Realty, and continues to do so currently. Since this time he has specialized in architectural and interior photography of residential and commercial properties.

Throughout 2006 Michael began photographing for several publications by the Arizona Republic, including AZ Magazine (formerly 85255), AZ Society, Arrowhead Life, and Exclusive Estates. Following several months of home features in AZ Magazine, Heather and Michael were requested to provide staging services in addition to continued photography.

In 2007 Michael became a qualified, professional member of an international organization called the AIAP, Association of Independent Architectural Photographers. With only ten members in the state of Arizona, this organization is comprised of a dedicated group of photographers who specialize in architectural and interior photography and work by an established code of ethics. Michael and Heather are dedicated to providing quality photography for a variety of professionals, throughout the greater Phoenix area and beyond.
