JESSE OLIVE
OWNER CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Jesse has nine years of experience working in related fields. He began teaching himself web design while working for a small boutique in Knoxville, TN as he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Art. Within six months of designing his first web site, Jesse achieved the Lead Web Designer position with that same firm. "The experience was perfect for an entrepreneur like myself. Not only did I learn a great deal about design, marketing and programming, I also had repeated opportunities to contribute to the growth of the business and interface with clientèle."
Soon after graduating from the University of Tennessee in 2001, Jesse moved to Charlotte, NC where he held the position of Director of Internet Services for the Charlotte Business Journal's 3rd ranked web design company in the city. After 9/11, Jesse finished rebranding that company and moved on to start Evision (Studios). "People were underestimating the market, and the .com crash already drove a lot of internet businesses under due to bloated rates. After 911, the economy crashed and I saw an opportunity to implement a business model that would accommodate the marketing budgets for most small businesses."
It is still Jesse's goal to keep his business rates low by lowering overhead. "Sure, it is impressive to walk into an agency with fancy furniture, conference room and a large staff, but the fact is, the customer pays for those things. I have established a team that is more than sufficient and bring them in on an as needed basis. Overall, I want my clients paying for the work we produce. Not to keep us afloat. This is how I have stayed in business for nearly seven years and, trust me, we are not going anywhere."
