Starting in January 2006 I started my own design firm. Currently working with several clients producing catalogs and related marketing material, web pages, logos, ads and providing effective marketing/ advertising and direct mail strategies. (Clients include: Dayton Wire Wheel, O-Cedar Commercial, The Xenia Gazette, and more)
Wirth Advertising/Famous Auto Promotions-Xenia, OH, 2002-2006
Working as a graphic designer in the automotive aftermarket industry. In charge of design, layout, and production of marketing related materials including; catalogs, brochures, ads, logos, POP displays, posters, product photography and coordination between clients. Create and direct weekly activity reports for clients and internal personnel, while working eagerly to increase company profits. Also working as an event coordinator for one of the biggest car show and swap meet in the mid-west. Duties include, organizing, planning, creating brochures and maps, while performing and directing show setup.
Hearlihy and Company-Springfield, OH, 1997-2002
Worked as a graphic designer in charge of design, layout, and production of all Hearlihy & Co. catalogs, promotional materials, advertisements, products, and many other direct mail projects. Other duties included producing web-ready graphics, design and layout of lesson plan logos, lesson plan cover design, CD cover art, bi-annual newsletter, space ads, manuals, workbooks, and trade show exhibits. Coordinated and directed photography for all promotional materials. Obtained print quotes and purchased printing from outside vendors.
The Ohio State University Lantern-Columbus, OH, 1995-1997
Graphic Designer in charge of art production for the daily OSU newspaper, circulating over 30,000 papers per day. Responsibilities included development of marketing materials, advertising design, house and client ads, logos and flyers, utilizing Quark XPress and Adobe Photoshop.
