Bio

My artistic career spans over twenty years of experience in various creative fields both personally and professionally. I have excellent communication skills, am very organized and take the initiative in following through on all assignments. My knowledge of Illustrator, Photo Shop, and Microsoft Office programs are excellent and I am eager and quick to learn any new skills that are presented. At Russ Berrie & Co., Inc. I was employed from 2002 to 2005 where there was enough confidence in my design abilities on new product that I was selected to travel to the Far East. There I was responsible for overseeing production and to ensuring that HK and China adhered to the outlined specifications. I was also responsible for the LA showroom set up and to ensure that the visual effect was within the expectations of Management. My designs were featured in a few major magazines: Cosmopolitan, Woman?s Day, Parents Magazine, Teen People and Collectors Edition. I adhere to a high degree of aesthetic values on all my designs and this is proved by their repeated development of my creations three years consecutive. A few designs have reached the best seller list in each holiday season as well as being featured on the cover of holiday catalogs. I have been responsible for designing entire lines independently from initial concept through to the complete development of each piece within the product line. I have a BFA in Illustration, extensive experience dealing with vendors as well as co-workers.
I enjoy a fast paced environment and maintain a high degree of work ethics that has been expressly appreciated by both Management and peers.
At this time I am freelancing but am open to new opportunities.
