Bio

Lois Wood Graphic Design was founded in 1992 making this the 15 year anniversary! After an extremely varied career in such fields as zoology, psychobiology, volunteer coordination (being in charge of 900 volunteers at a major museum), Lois reinvented her life and became a graphic designer, drawing from her experience in creating communications pieces throughout all of those professional careers.

Who needs good graphic design? In a world of visual stimulus overload, there must be a clear reason why people are going to notice your business. The image your business conveys must appropriately reflect the character of your business. It is the vehicle by which the public will consistently recognize you in the marketplace.

"What's most rewarding is working with a client who's been using the same tired logo for ages. Reinventing their image can often bring their business to a whole new level, and it's exciting to be part of that."

Business owners know what makes their company unique, and what audience they want to attract. My job is to extract that knowledge, and package it into a look that will proudly display those values to the public.
